Families Rock Out in Support of High-Risk Births
Mount Sinai Hospital is launching a new fundraising walk this fall that will be the only walk in Toronto focused on the critically-important care of high-risk births, an area of care where Mount Sinai leads internationally. Called Rock n’ Stroll, the 3 km walk will boast a parade of baby strollers and feature a day of rock n’ roll-themed activities for the whole family such as musical performances, kid-friendly games, a family marketplace and BBQ.
“Rock n’ Stroll is a great way to rally the community around Women’s and Infants’ Health, Mount Sinai’s largest and most renowned program,” says Kevin Goldthorp, President of Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. “The funds raised will help support the resources, facilities and equipment to deliver this specialized care to moms and babies.
